1917 Rebound Wisden Paperback – Super

£175.00 £140.00

This is a SUPER condition 1917 Rebound Wisden Paperback. The 54th edition.

The binding has a Foyles of London feel to it and it is likely, according to the previous owner, that the binding was done probably in the 1940’s or early 1950’s. It is still in lovely condition.
The 1917 within the binding lacks its original front and rear wrappers, the advertisements to the front and rear are present.

The boards, as can be seen on the photograph, are patterned. They are strong and solid, with minimum ageing. The front board is blank, the year and title are to the spine.

A Volume number is also on the spine, the original family member who had the set rebound had some years bound together, ie: 1864,65,66 and 67 – he had that named Volume 1. This edition is Vol. 28.

The pages within are also in super condition, with no noticeable ageing and the trim is very healthy.

The page block is also very very good.

Contents Include:
Deaths in 1916.
Deaths in the War – The Roll of Honour.
