1940 Wisden Soft Back – Good Condition

This is a Good condition 1940 Wisden Soft Back edition. The 77th edition.

This edition has such poignancy – the last full season of English domestic cricket was 1939 and it is naturally covered extensively in this edition, and some of the comments and wordings around the matches played on or near September 1st 1939 are thought-provoking to say the least!

The front and rear covers are bright and clean, just a very minor dust mark on the front. The spine is firm, a little bowed and it is aged and blotchy – the photograph shows this.

The inside front and inside hinges are strong and the pages within sare in lovely condition.

The page block is also very very good.
