1912 Wisden Hardback – Lovely

A Lovely condition 1912  Wisden Hardback edition. The 49th almanack.

Finding Wisden Hardbacks from pre-World War One is tricky and finding them in such lovely condition is trickier still.

This edition has lovely strong boards, with only minor ageing, and there is only very minor bumping to the edges. The gilt on the front board is super. The spine board has some bubbling but this is after all a 112-year-old Wisden. The spine is overall in lovely condition.

Internally the pages within are also in lovely condition and the photo plate is splendid. The hinges to the inside front and to the inside rear are in lovely condition.

The page block is  a little dusty. For a 1912 hardback this edition is in lovely condition.
