This is a Very Good condition Wisden 1913 Hardback edition. The JUBILEE Edition. The 50th almanack.
The front board on this edition is in very good condition – there is some bumping to the corners and light rubbing to the spine edge, the gilt is super. The rear board is in lovely condition, with no noticable ageing.
The spine is in very good condition – it is firm and strong and the gilt is bright. There is scuffing/rubbing to the top and foot and some minor bumping to the outside edges.
Internally the inside front and inside rear hinges are in very good condition, at some stage both the front and thereat hinges have been restored. The paste down pages are in very good condition. the pages within are lovely and the photo plate of John Wisden is in excellent condition, the facing tissue guard is splendid.
The page block is dusty, after all this is a 111-year-old edition.
