1944 Wisden Hardback – Unique and Super Condition

£500.00 £350.00

This is a Super condition 1944  Wisden Hardback. The 81st edition.

The boards are in Super condition – they are very bright and firm. The spine is also in splendid condition, again bright and firm  with no scuffing or rubbing. The gilt to the front is super, the spine has dulled – this is very common on WW2 hardbacks.

Internally the front and rear hinges are strong and excellent and the pages within likewise. This edition is from the Kent County Cricket Club Library. It has a stamp on the first right-hand, advertising, page. The Kent CCC collection was an extensive one and the majority of editions from it are in excellent condition.

The page block is also splendid.
