1946 Wisden Hardback

This is a Good condition 1946 Wisden Hardback. The 83rd year.

This edition comes with a Wisden approved dust jacket. The jacket has been produced by Wisdenworld, under license from John Wisden & Co. It has the traditional ‘Woodcutters’ image on the front along with a synopsis of contents.

There were two different types of 1946 Wisden hardback. One was produced on the normal boards and a smaller print run produced on lighter boards. This edition is from the normal run. The boards are strong and in good condition, dust marks to the front and rear and some ageing.

Internally this edition is in Very Good condition. The inside front and inside rear hinges are lovely, strong and with no breakage. The first inside right-hand page has a book sellers sticker to the foot, no text or imagery is covered. It is fair to say the pages within are also in very good condition.

The page block is generally good+.
