1947 Wisden Hardback – UNIQUE

Thank you for looking at this Lovely condition  1947 Hardback Wisden. The 84th year.

This edition is unique: When a Wisden was ordered direct from the publishers it was packed and posted out from the printers. This edition contains the original packaging box. It also contains the original advertising flyer within the box. The box is in good condition, it is broken to the corners and scuffed.

The front and rear boards of this edition are in Lovely condition –  both are strong and firm. The gilt on the front is readable, typically it has dulled a little.  The spine is strong and the gilt is very very good.

Internally the inside hinges are excellent  The pages within are in lovely condition.

The page block is splendid.
