1956 Wisden Hardback

This original 1956 hardback is in Very Good condition. The 93rd edition.

This edition comes with a Wisden approved dust jacket. The jacket has been produced by Wisdenworld, under license from John Wisden & Co. It has the traditional ‘Woodcutters’ image on the front along with a synopsis of contents.
The boards below are in Very Good condition, with some light minor ageing. The gilt to the front is bright, the spine is in decent condition, typically for the ’56 it is wrinkly. The gilt has dulled on the spine.

Internally the hinges to the front and rear are strong and the pages within are lovely.

The page block is very good.

Overall a decent Wisden.
