1956 Wisden Hardback

This original 1956 hardback is in Very Very Good condition. The 93rd edition.

First of all – the boards on this 1956 have been encased in a non-removable transparent cover. The photograph exaggerates a lot how this looks.

The front and rear boards  are super, along with the spine – they are strong and firm with no ageing, scuffing or rubbing. The gilt to both the front and the spine is excellent.

Internally a lovely Wisden – the hinges are super, indeed there is still a good spring in this edition as it is opened. The pages within are in lovely condition.

The page block is lovely.
