1958 and 1959 Wisden Hardbacks – Set of Two

This is a set of two original Wisden hardbacks, 1958 and 1959. Both are in Very Good+ condition. The 95th and 96th years.

Both come with a Wisdenworld produced dust jacket, the jacket was published under license from John Wisden & Co. It has the ‘woodcutters’ image on the front along with a synopsis of the contents.

The front and rear boards on the 1958 are very very good, along with the spine – they are strong and firm with no ageing, scuffing or rubbing. The boards on the 1959 are a little aged and worn, the gilt looks like it has been enhanced.

Internally both are very very good Wisdens – the hinges are lovely. The pages within are in lovely condition.

The page block on the 1958 is lovely, the 1959 is dusty.
