1961 Wisden Hardback

£62.00 £43.40

Thank you for looking at this Very Very Good condition 1961 original Hardback edition. The 98th edition of Wisden

This edition comes with a Wisdenworld produced dust jacket. The jacket was published under license from John Wisden & Co. It has the traditional ‘woodcutters” image and a synopsis of the contents upon the front.
The boards on this 1961 are in lovely condition.  Overall the boards are strong and the gilt to both the front and to the spine is lovely.

Internally the front and rear hinges are excellent, as are the pages within.

The page block is also lovely.

Contents Include:
The Greatest Test Match, by E.M. Wellings.
Cricket Alive Again, by Jack Fingleton.
The Throwing Controversy.
Bowling for Surrey and England, by Alec Bedser.
